Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing team. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and helping bring on board clients that could benefit from marketing.cool’s full-suite of services. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to ensure client needs are understood and met, and that proposals are both compelling and realistic.

Key Responsibilities • Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients in target markets; generate leads via outreach (cold email, LinkedIn, referrals). • Relationship Building: Initiate conversations, build rapport, and understand client pain points and objectives. • Needs Assessment: Understand a prospect’s business goals and challenges and align them with our service offerings (ads, SEO, content, etc.). • Proposal & Pitching: Create and deliver high-quality proposals / presentations / demos. Customize offerings to match client budgets and expectations. • Negotiation & Closing: Drive deals to close, negotiate terms, and ensure client successfully checks out using our website https://marketing.cool • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (marketing, operations, creative) to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery for new clients. • Performance Tracking: Maintain CRM data, track pipeline, key metrics (conversion rates, deal size, sales cycle length), produce forecasts. • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends (digital advertising, AI, content marketing), competitor offerings, pricing, etc.

What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in business development, sales, or similar roles—preferably in digital marketing / advertising / agency environment. • Strong communication (verbal & written), presentation, and negotiation skills. • Comfortable doing outreach, prospecting, following up, and handling rejection. • Good understanding of digital marketing services (ads, SEO, content) or ability/willingness to learn quickly. • Results driven: you know how to track and achieve KPIs. • Self-starter, organized, able to manage and prioritize multiple prospective clients and tasks. • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
